Step I
The first step in the Cambridge Nanny Group placement process is to fill out the online application. The application collects basic information, such as family size, location, care type desired, etc. This information helps us paint a better picture of what your specific childcare needs are, and how we can best serve those needs.
Step II
As soon as we receive your application, one of our placement specialists will contact you to discuss your specific needs in further detail.
Step III
From this information, we will compile a family profile and use that to help match you with one of our many qualified, experienced nannies. Keep in mind that some clients may receive matches right away, while others may wait until we find nannies that better meet their specific needs. Our staff meets, screens, and interviews candidates on a daily basis.
Step IV
If you choose our contingency plan, you will begin receiving detailed candidate summaries on candidates who have been personally matched to your family. You only pay a placement fee if you hire a Cambridge Nanny.
Step V
You can upgrade to our Retained Search Package if you’d like to receive pre-recorded videos of candidates. You will receive a secure password that will give you exclusive access to our Nanny View Introduction portal. In addition to the video, you will be able to read a detailed candidate summary for each nanny that we have pre-screened for you. Watch Recorded Virtual Interviews in the privacy of your home or office from your computer, Smart Phone, or iPad, and then decide who you want to meet in person. Our Retained Search Package requires an initial payment of $500, which guarantees you 4 candidates who meet all of your job requirements.
Step VI
You tell us which nanny or nannies you would like to meet with and we will set up times for you to interview them. Cambridge Nanny Group strongly suggests that you conduct interviews at your home. We encourage families and candidates to spend ample time together prior to placement in order to facilitate a well thought-out decision.
Step VII
If you and the potential nanny are in agreement, a family/nanny agreement will be drafted and signed by both parties. The basic contract is provided by Cambridge Nanny Group, which requires you to complete and return to us before your nanny begins their work. The contract will cover salary, expenses, time off, and etc.
Step VIII
The placement fee is made payable to Cambridge Nanny Group. You will receive a complete employee file which also includes successful results of background check, psychological clearance and medical clearance.
